Fotomat Archives
Preserving photographs for future generations.
A photograph is the closest way we can experience a moment in the past. It is what we rely on to learn the stories of others and to share stories of our own.

Fotomat Studios opened its doors at Stamford Arts Centre on 2 April 2021. It was created for you to experience the joy of self-photography. The space was designed and fitted with retro elements to transport you to the past. Guests will recall our record player and the projection of black-and-white films on the wall.
The time has now come for us to bid goodbye to this space as we move on to develop our new concepts. As the first self-photography studio in Singapore, we always wish to develop the experience for our guests continually and transform new spaces for you to enjoy.
To commemorate our first home at Stamford Arts Centre, we bring to you Fotomat Archives, exclusively available at Stamford Arts Centre from 18 December 2021 to 31 December 2021.
Fotomat Archives will serve as a historical record of memories, kept safe for you and preserved for future generations to find.
Fotomat Archives is a compilation of the moments you have created at Fotomat’s first home. Those who wish to participate after their session at Stamford Arts Centre will be given an additional print of their chosen photograph. Contributors’ photographs will be packed individually in a special folder together with their handwritten note. These photographs will be stored on site until the end of the month, when they will be transported to a secure facility.
